Admissions at GIIS are open throughout the year, but we encourage parents to apply at the earliest to avail the seats.
The age group to join high school at GIIS is 16 to 18 years that is standard 11 and 12.
Student counselors provide support to students by constantly getting in touch with students, parents and teachers. They provide assistance in the following ways:
- Counselling students
- Assisting schools to identify and address disabilities that affect students learning
- Assisting parents or guardians make informed decisions about their child’s education
- Liaising with other agencies concerned with the well-being of students
- Assessing students’ learning and behaviour.
Our expert academic counselors will guide parents with the necessary information about the curricula or academics that best fits the students’ requirements.
The school follows a structured admission process wherein you need to fill the enquiry form to contact the required team. Upon your visit to the school fill in the application form and submit with the required documentation. Then the student will undergo an assessment and counselling process. Final step would be to pay the first term fees.
A meeting can be arranged with the academic counsellors who can guide on the academics, curricula that best suits the students’ requirements. A prior meeting needs to be scheduled to check the availability of the counsellors..
The required documents at the time of registration are:
● Birth certificate of the student
● Residential address proof
● Passport size photographs
● Medical Certificate.
The academic year is divided into 4 terms of 3 months each and the fees can be paid at the beginning of each term.
A one time non-refundable registration and admission fee needs to be paid and a one time refundable security deposit has to be paid.
The school transportation facility is available zone wise and to and fro communication. To cancel the facility, a one month notice period needs to be submitted. The request can be made online in the MYGIIS portal under the section ‘School – School Bus – Request Start/Stop Service’ and also by the written notice addressed to the Principal. The same will be approved within 2 working days.
GIIS offers a FIFA-level technology platform called the Sports Performance Enhancing Data Analytics System (SPEDAS) digital data tool to groom the sporting skills of students.
Indoor and outdoor games include; Yoga, Chess, Badminton, Cricket, Tennis, Basketball that promotes the physical and emotional growth of students and hones their talent.
A seamless communication is built between parents and teachers like one on one meetings, parents teachers meet, orientation sessions, etc. Apart from this the complete student information is shared in the MYGIIS portal and regular emails and newsletter are shared to the parents about the school activities.
